The final grades will reflect the distribution given below. The instructor reserves the right to adjust this if needed in order to come close to departmental norms for a 400 level course and/or to more accurately reflect the quality of the students work in the class. Keep in mind that the projects typically increase a students overall ranking so that the mean of the test grades will not necessarily reflect the final ranking of the student in the class.
